Food Expo 2026 Opens in Damascus

The 21st Arab-International Food Industries and Packaging Exhibition, Food Expo 2026, opened in Damascus on June 21 under the patronage of the Ministry of Economy and Industry and will run through June 25 at the Damascus Fairgrounds. More than 300 local, Arab and international companies are presenting products; the event aims to promote Syrian food products and value-added exports while exploring commercial and investment opportunities and strengthening partnerships between local, regional and international firms.

The exhibition features a broad range of sectors including edible oils, bakery and grains, baby food, canned goods, dairy and cheeses, confectionery, meat and processed meats, bottled water and juices, poultry and fish products, raw materials for food industries, and packaging machinery and materials. Organizers say the fair provides industry stakeholders a venue to exchange expertise, expand business networks, stimulate industrial growth, develop productive capacities and create employment opportunities, as reported by SANA
