Kuwait Condemns Drone Incursions
Kuwait on July 31 condemned what it described as continued Iranian drone attacks targeting several vital and military facilities across the country. The Foreign Ministry, in a statement posted on X, said the strikes violated Kuwait's sovereignty, international law, the UN Charter and UN Security Council Resolution 2817, warning of a dangerous escalation and a systematic hostile approach.
The Defense Ministry said hostile drones were detected in Kuwaiti airspace and were intercepted and destroyed while aiming at key and military sites. Kuwait reaffirmed its right to take all necessary measures to protect national sovereignty, security and the safety of citizens and residents, as reported by SANA
