Damascus talks on health cooperation
Syrian Health Minister Musab al-Ali met a Libyan delegation led by Fouzi Onis in Damascus to explore expanding bilateral cooperation in healthcare and pharmaceuticals. The talks centered on mechanisms to recruit experienced Syrian medical personnel—with particular emphasis on nursing staff—and on exchanging expertise in medical training, capacity building and healthcare management.
Expanding pharmaceutical collaboration
Delegates also examined opportunities to boost cooperation in pharmaceutical manufacturing and the supply of medicines and medical consumables to strengthen healthcare integration and pharmaceutical security in both countries.
